Colony

We got to go to a very small colony today! It has a grand total of two patients! It was out in the middle of no where but it sure was beautiful!

 

One of Rising Star's main purposes is to help those who have been affected by leprosy to become self sufficient. The man from this colony is a tailor! He had his own little office and a house behind it for him and his wife. I was so happy to see all that he is able to do!  

                                           

 

This is really first worldy of me but I love seeing wells! It's so cool! I always want to sing the "I'm wishing" song from Snow white whenever I see one!

This is Daniel (one of the long term volunteers) picking some fruit with a very long stick/tool that they use. The actual fruit was gross but it was fun to try to catch it as it fell from the tall trees!

It was a beautiful day and a beautiful colony!
